Introduction

The MEED has now nine subjects including Vessel & Port Electrical Device, Application Technology for Port Machinery, Mechtronic Engineering, Logistics Equipment for Port Business & Auto control, Digital Technology & Application, Electrical Engineering & Automation, Mobile Application Technology & Marketing, CAD & CAM, Model Designing &Manufacturing etc.

The labs in the MEED owns a nation-level digital control training centre and other sub-labs which serve for hydraulic technology, PLC, Port Machinery, Electrical Technology, Machine Tools, Digital & Simulating Electronics, Motor & Dragging, Vessel Power Station. Besides, there are six off-campus bases for studying, research and manufacturing.

The MEED owned a team of teachers with “Double-professional Certificates”, and acted both as a base under the Ministry of Education for training the talents in digital control and a base under the Shandong Province for training of professional skills, focus on the application skills in jobs, and has sent a great deal of graduates with competitive ability for ports and enterprises in the nation.
